We are delighted at St. Mary’s to be able to offer a well known Marriage Preparation Course which is running in churches and registry offices all over the country.

The venue is a lovely family home in one of the villages outside Andover where the course runs one evening a week for five consecutive weeks.

It gives couples time to focus on their relationship in amongst all the busyness of organising a wedding, and this is something that many couples have commented on and appreciated. There is an informal atmosphere, with the course being run on DVD; there is no group work or open sharing of views, just time to be with your partner and explore the topics presented.

The course covers vital issues such as Communication, Commitment, Finance, In-laws, Sex, Forgiveness, and Shared Goals and Values. Overall it gives practical tools to take into marriage and all of the couples who have completed the course have found it very helpful and look to implement these tools in their relationships.
