What We Believe:
We
seek to support doctrines which empower us to know and
experience God and His plan for our lives. We live the Christian
life through the power of the Holy Spirit, and are called to
share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through our words and actions,
acting as God’s vessels to spread His love and compassion to all
humanity. As a community of faith we choose to encourage each
other in unity and love (Philippians 2:1-4).
We
believe in God.
He is the one and only true God, the Creator of all things and
infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three persons:
Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We
believe in Jesus Christ.
He is both God and man, and has always existed. He was conceived
by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. While on earth,
He lived a sinless life and was crucified on the cross as a
sacrifice for our sins. Three days later, He rose from the dead
and ascended into heaven, where He now reigns as our High Priest
and mediator. He will return to earth in power and glory (Acts
1:9-11; Revelation 19:11-16)
We believe in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit's ministry
is to glorify Jesus Christ and, during this age, to convict all
humanity of their sin. He indwells, guides, instructs, comforts
and empowers every believer for Godly living and service.
We
believe in the Bible.
The Bible is God’s Word and that both the Old and New Testaments
are the inspired Word of God. Without error in their original
writings, they are the complete revelation of His will for the
salvation of mankind. They are the divine and final authority
for all Christian faith and life.
We
believe in Salvation.
It is required that every person should be regenerated (receive
new spiritual life as a free gift of God) through the
Holy Spirit for salvation from the sin which separates
each of us from God. Justification is solely through faith in
Jesus Christ and His death on the cross on our behalf. Only by
God’s grace through faith are we saved. Our faith response to
the free gift of salvation is the means by which we surrender to
Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour. This faith response
includes trusting in Christ as Lord and Saviour, turning from
sin, and testifying to our faith publicly in baptism. Through
our faith response we become part of God’s family and receive
eternal life.
We believe the Gospel is Good News and that God loves YOU!
However, the fact that all have sinned separates us from God.
(Romans 3:23). Still, God cares for you and He provides a way
to share His love with you (Romans 5:8). Jesus Christ's love for
man was so great that He came and died on the Cross for all the
sins of mankind. He shed His blood, was buried and rose again
for you so you can be forgiven and have eternal life (Romans
6:23). The only thing He requires of you is to come to Him in
simple faith trusting His character and love for you, accepting
Him as your personal Saviour.
“Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved:
(Romans 10:13). Simply pray this prayer: “Dear Jesus, I know I
am a sinner. I receive you as my personal Saviour. Thank you for
loving me so much that you died for me, that you were buried and
that you rose again so I can have eternal life with you now and
forever. Amen.” God promises that He will never stop loving you
and that He will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews
13:5).
You can develop your relationship with Him by reading the Bible
(hearing from God), praying (talking to God) and attending a
good Bible-believing church (growing in God). If you have asked
the Lord Jesus to be your Saviour, we would love to hear from
you and encourage you in your faith! Welcome to the family of
God!
